My name is Samantha, Sam for short, and I was born and raised here in Tucson. My mom was born in Phoenix but lived most of her life in Nogales, Mexico, while my dad was born and raised in Cananea, Mexico. I have a twin sister and a younger brother. I am very family-oriented, but I also love spending quality time with my best friends. My best friends are one of my top priorities, along with school, my family, and God. I plan to go into the career of Forensic Pathology. To do that, I have to study Forensic Science and I want to do it at the best University possible, Penn State! This is something I've been inspired to do by my mom, who wanted to be part of the Border Control, but sadly couldn't get into it. I want to make my mom proud by doing something similar to what she originally wanted to do.

I absolutely love Soccer. My favorite team ever is FC Barcelona. Although we aren't too good, we still play passionately and intensely. I also like spending time by myself playing video games, scrolling through TikTok, or talking to my mom. I'm inspired to be like her one day, just a little bit better.
