Hello! My name is Josiah Lopez. Born and raised here in Tucson throughout my elementary-high school years. After graduating high school I was fortunate to live in Texas for 8 years. I’ve recently moved back to Tucson amid covid where I had the great opportunity to have worked within TUSD for the past 4 years as an Exceptional Ed Teacher Assistant and as well as a Behavioral Interventionist Monitor.  I am a local freelance photographer and an assistant coach at Pueblo High School for girls basketball. I love spending time with my family and my dog Jaz. My goal when deciding to come back to Tucson was to build up the community I was born in through sports or within the school system, and now through Higher Ground. I've been able to be a part of Higher Ground since it was first created back in 2007, and now  I am excited to be a part of this team here at Apollo Middle School as a Student Support Specialist. I look forward to being part of this amazing community for many years to come!
