Hello, my name is Genesis Pinuelas, but you can call me Gen if you would like. I was born and raised here in Tucson, Arizona. While my mom is from Escuintla, Guatemala and my dad is from Caborca, Mexico, which makes those two cultures into a unique feature for me. I am really family-oriented and enjoy hanging out with friends as well. I'm currently a Freshman at San Miguel High School and so far I enjoy it. 

        My dream is to go to an amazing university such as NYU, University of Maryland, or Penn State. I want to study three subjects, Music Production, Criminology, and Writing. I grew up watching criminal investigation which made me look more in criminal studies to do in college. Music production is something I rather dreamed about, I absolutely love music and I really would like to produce and make music, as well as being a songwriter. Writing has always been my passion. I love writing stories, poems, and so much more. I love being creative and letting people be inspired by my creative thoughts, knowing anyone can do anything with writing. 

      My determination and always doing my best in school, I know I'll achieve my goals, but I also would like to be able to apply for full scholarships so my parents don't need to worry about money or financial fees. I'm currently working here in Higher Ground as a student intern.
