David Membrila is a native Tucsonan and is a retired educator of 42 years, professional musician, comedy stage hypnotist, comedian, hypnotherapist, realtor, actor and author. In his own words, “I don’t know what I want to be when I grow up.”

His forte has ALWAYS been putting kids first, as he has spent a lifetime teaching and counseling. His expertise has covered a genre of teaching subjects including band, orchestra, choir, mariachi, general music, jazz band, physical education, and judo. The books he has authored are currently being used in classrooms to teach creative writing and narrative literature.

Mr. Membrila has requested that when he leaves this earth, his epitaph reads:

"He was a Renaissance man, but died Baroque"...
