Jimmy Barrios grew up 1 block from Wakefield and lived on the south side of Tucson for over 30 years. He has an Engineering degree from the University of Arizona and he is very excited at the premise of using his degree in the tech field for a company whose mission he greatly aligns with his.

Jimmy resonates with the Higher Grounds mission statement because if he communicated that had he had this kind of support while attending college or graduated from high school, he exclaims would have had better direction of where to go and where to find resources he needed.

He has worked in tech with non-profits for 8 years before joining Higher Ground and hopes to bring his skills and expertise to this non-profit as well.

Finally, Jimmy enjoys working out daily, basketball, weight training, PC gaming and building computers.
