Hi!

My name is Korena, and I have lived in Arizona since 2000. I was born in Northern California and moved to Tucson in my sophomore year of High School. I am the oldest of five kids, two brothers and two sisters. Outside of my immediate family, I have 12 cousins, where I am the fourth oldest. My family and I are really close, so "Family" means everything to me. I graduated High School from Canyon Del Oro in 2003 in Oro Valley, AZ. I have an associate degree in Culinary Arts (Yes, I know food!). I live in Chandler now where I've been for the past 4 years with my two daughters ages 15 and 7, my dog HoneyNut Cheerio, and my boyfriend. Although my schooling is in culinary arts, that's not where my heart is. I have always been a leader and nurturer. It’s something that comes out naturally in everything that I do. I am honored to be a part of Higher Ground and to be able to work alongside an amazing group of people.
