Kenneth Welch

Director of Outreach & District Partnerships

I embarked on my professional journey with the United States Air Force, where I served my country in Kuwait, Iraq, and Afghanistan, as a Crew Chief (Airplane mechanic) on the A-10. During this time, I honed my leadership skills, increased my discipline, and gained a strong sense of duty for my country and the people in it. My experience in the Air Force has been invaluable in shaping my approach to teamwork and problem-solving.

Education has always been a cornerstone in my life. I hold an associate's degree in Aviation Maintenance Technology, a bachelor's degree in History, and a master's degree in management; currently, I am a Ph.D. candidate at Prescott College, demonstrating my commitment to lifelong learning and academic excellence.

Beyond these academic achievements, I strive to make a lasting impact on countless young lives through extensive work with youth. As a football, basketball, and track coach, I have not only taught the importance of teamwork, discipline, and athletic performance; but I have also mentored young athletes, helping them reach their full potential. Additionally, I have served as a long-term substitute teacher, enriching the minds of future generations.

I don't stop at the school gates as I am actively involved in my community. My work with the youth at Trinity Life Church, and increased my commitment to instilling values, building character, and fostering a sense of community among young people. I also lead a team of volunteers to support the mission of the Jobs Corps and the possible resources available to the youth in that program, as the President of the Community Relations Council.

I bring a diverse set of experiences, leadership skills, and unwavering dedication to making a positive impact on the world. I hope to continue to be a beacon of inspiration, and my passion for education, service, and community will continue to shine through, in everything I do.
