I was born and raised in Southern California and moved to Phoenix in 1994. I instantly fell in love with the valley of the sun and the people. While raising my son and daughter, I became exceedingly involved in public service, community development, and volunteering for nonprofits. It has been my compassion to serve and impact the lives of students, families, and school faculty members for over 30+ years. My community engagement led me to be a part of developing great community projects throughout the valley. While serving on school development and financial boards, I was able to connect families to resources, collaborate with community leaders, organize funding, build school structures, inspire stewardship, and build a sense of community on the school campuses.

In 2014, I decided to attend ASU where I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Service and Public Policy, a minor in Criminology, and a certificate in Public Administration Leadership. You will always find me outside enjoying the outdoors, reading a good book, volunteering, and making connections with people.

I am grateful that my journey has led me to Higher Ground. I am looking forward to working closely with the Higher Ground team to build sustainable long-lasting community relationships while encouraging others to reach their divine potential.
