I was born and raised in Tucson, AZ. I attended Tucson High School and graduated from the University of Arizona.

During high school, I worked at a daycare part-time. I have always loved working with children. After finishing my bachelor's, I moved to Atlanta to work on my Master’s of Education as well as complete my Montessori teaching certification.

I worked in a Montessori classroom for 2 years in Albuquerque, NM before coming back to Tucson permanently. I worked in a traditional classroom for another 3 years before realizing that I had the drive to fulfill a bigger purpose when working with students and their families.

I am very excited to be a part of the Higher Ground organization and look forward to bringing my knowledge and experiences to help the community.
