My name is Axel Gerardo Priego Gonzalez I was born in Tucson, AZ while my parents were born and raised in Nogales, Sonora. I am a student at San Miguel High School and I am also a student intern at Higher Ground. My experiences prolonged to having another job at McDonald's, participating in various sports at school, being a part of the senior student council, and having academic rewards for multiple years in school. After high school, I would go to college to get a degree in maybe law, business, or culinary arts. But my plan is to go to Pima Community College to get my associate’s degree in culinary arts, then get a transfer to the University of Arizona and finish my education with maybe law or business. Otherwise, my goals for Higher Ground are to make a better connection with my co-workers and to learn the bigger meaning of Higher Ground which can be anything that you put your mind to.
