Alondra Guzman

Student Support Coordinator at Willis Jr. High School

My name is Alondra Guzman, and I just wrapped up my last semester at Glendale Community College earning my A.A. in Family and Human Development. I just started my first semester at ASU going for my Bachelor’s and Master’s in Educational Studies. Growing up, life has been a roller coaster of ups and downs for me, facing many losses since the early age of nine. I believe all kids deserve love, happiness, and acceptance. My mission in life is to be able to provide a safe space for those who feel like giving up and throwing in the towel.

My position here at Higher Ground means more than just a job title. It’s an opportunity to help kids and families shift their obstacles into growth opportunities. I’m blessed and feel beyond lucky to be a part of a team like Higher Ground. Through love and building character. Together we’re reaching, transforming, and elevating, one life at a time!
